1. Periodically remove carbon buildup by cleaning the burner assembly and bowl with a wet cloth or mild cleaning solution. Frequency of cleaning will depend on usage.
  2. Occasionally inspect for dirt & debris between the base of the bowl and the mounting surface. The mounting bracket should be kept clean for adequate airflow and drainage.
  3. Ensure all gas connections are tight.
  4. Outdoor features should be covered for adverse weather and out of season when not in use. Cycle the units frequently, especially after rainfall. Place a cover over the burner assembly to protect it from snow and ice.
  5. Burner should not be operated in high wind conditions. Wind can limit the cooling air required to prevent overheating.
  6. The gas should be shut off when not in use.
