Past Winner

Fisher House Foundation supports America’s military in their time of need by providing “a home away from home.” The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.


Children's Miracle Network

Past Winner

Their mission is to generate funds and awareness programs in partnership with and for the benefit of member hospitals/foundations and the children they are privileged to serve. This organization raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals to help sick and injured kids in local communities.

Wounded Warrior Project

Past Winner

The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors by raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and provide unique direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service men and women.


Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Breast Cancer 3-day Walk Benefiting Susan G. Komen

Past Winner

November’s C of M has been chosen in honor of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day Walk in Phoenix, AZ, on November 13, 2009. The Breast Cancer 3-Day is an amazing 60-mile journey that helps mothers, sisters, spouses, and friends get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. The walk instills inspirational days filled with hope where the world hears the footsteps.


Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Past Winner

PTI will be sponsoring Carla Bauer, AZ Sales Manager, on Oct. 31 in the 2009 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on behalf of Grace’s Gang, daughter of Aaron Gurley of Premier Pools. She was diagnosed with Type I Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 8 months. The JDRF is the world leader in research to find a cure for Type I Diabetes.

Little Red Wagon Foundation

Past Winner

Little Red Wagon Foundation was founded in 2005 by Zachary Bonner, a 6th grader living in Tampa, Florida. The mission of the Foundation is to help kids in distressed situations and help as many kids as possible. Zach helped in the community after Hurricane Charlie in 2004 and from that experience, decided to form an organization to help under privileged kids.


The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private non-profit organization sponsored by the Department of the Navy. Their mission is to provide, in partnership with the Navy & Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Services of the U.S., eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.

The Florida Panther Society, Inc.

Past Winner

The Florida Panther is one of the critically endangered species in the world. With only an estimated 50 to 70 population left in the wild, The Florida Panther Society works to protect panther habitat, reduce panther deaths on road, and raise awareness of panther recovery needs through public education and outreach programs. Donations go directly to involvement in panther recover.


Family YMCA of the Desert

Past Winner

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Smith family in their time of healing in the loss of Bob Smith Chairman of the Board at Teserra. A favorite of Bob's was to raise money for local charities. Therefore, at the request of the family PTI would like to make a donation to the Family YMCA of the Desert in his memory. Our sympathy goes out to those fortunate enough to have known Bob Smith – God Bless

Arizona Foundation for Women

The mission of the Arizona Foundation for Women is to promote innovative solutions to fulfill the unmet needs of Arizona's women and children. The Foundation works to enhance the lives of women and children by finding solutions to domestic violence and child abuse, economic self-sufficiency and self-esteem for young women.

National Canine Cancer Foundation

Past Winner

The NCCF is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem in dogs by funding grants for the scientific efforts of cancer researchers who are working to save lives, find a cure, find better treatments, find more accurate, cost effective, diagnostic methods in dealing with cancer, and diminishing dogs’ suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.


Esperança

Esperança's Mission is to improve health and provide hope for families in the poorest communities of the world through sustainable disease prevention, education and treatment programs. Breast Cancer 3-Day

Each step you take on the Breast Cancer 3-Day brings us closer to ending the disease forever. 85% of the net proceeds of this event go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure providing breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention. The remaining 15% of net funds goes to the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

Mayo Clinic Dept. of Development - Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Mayo clinic is a not-for-profit medical practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of virtually every type of complex illness. Mayo Clinic staff members work together to meet your needs. CLL is a type of Leukemia in which lymphocytes in the bone marrow generate too many white blood cells that then invade the blood stream. It is a progressive cancer that strikes older adults.

Genesis Women's Shelter

Past Winner

Genesis Women’s Shelter provides quality safety and shelter to battered women and their children through crisis intervention and short term crisis therapeutics and to reduce the occurrence of violence again women and children in the greater Dallas area. We are committed to raising the level of community awareness regarding the pervasiveness and effects of domestic violence.

Give 2 The Troops, Inc.

Give 2 The Troops, Inc. sends care packages to U.S. military troops deployed in combat zones around the world. What started as a personal project has evolved into an ongoing community effort from organizations and people nationwide. It is a heart-warming effort from people who care about our troops and want to show their support.


West Valley Child Crisis Center, Inc.

West Valley Child Crisis Center, Inc. is in the business of saving children's lives, providing temporary shelter and supervision for children who are victims of, or at risk of, abuse, neglect or abandonment, in a safe, nurturing, home-like environment staffed by quality care providers and to interact with the community to increase awareness of, and to prevent, the cycle of child abuse.

Foothills Animal Rescue

Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) was organized in February 1995 by Liz Northcott and a small group of volunteers at the urging of local veterinarian Dr. Cliff Faver, to help solve the problem of unwanted, abandoned, abused and lost cats and dogs. The organization is nonprofit.
